Kelly Hughes Berardi, Ph.D.

Dr. Kelly Hughes Berardi is a licensed psychologist in CA (21984), WA (PY60272993), and OR (4010). She received her M.S. in Counseling Psychology and Ph.D. in Clinical/Counseling/School Psychology at Utah State University. She completed her APA accredited internship at the San Diego VA Healthcare System and University of California San Diego School of Medicine, as well as a two-year trauma focused postdoctoral fellowship at the San Diego VA in the military sexual trauma clinic. Prior to private practice she worked as a psychologist at the San Diego VA and has held an adjunct faculty position at UCSD.
Dr. Hughes Berardi specializes in evidence-based therapy, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness based treatments. She has also had extensive training in trauma related treatments including Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
Licensed as a clinical psychologist since 2006, she has extensive experience treating adults who struggle with anxiety, panic, trauma, health issues, substance use issues, relationship stress, and stresses of every day life. She specializes in women’s health issues, including trauma (physical/sexual/emotional abuse), peri-menopause and menopause, life and career transitions, body image issues, and parenting and relationship stress. In her free time, she loves to get outside, hike, snowboard, camp, read, and spend quality time with family, friends, and her two small pups.
